Wire to Post exists to close the gap between a headline breaking and a finished, on brand social post going live. Instead of juggling a screen recorder, a video editor, and three different export presets, you do the whole thing in one page, in your browser, in under a minute.
What it does
The app pulls live headlines from trusted public news feeds and lets you turn any of them or a caption you write yourself into two kinds of output: a 1080×1350 image post, or a vertical video reel cropped and sized for Stories, Reels, and feed. You add your own photo or clip, set the caption, choose a size, and the app renders the finished file for you to download and post wherever you like.
What makes it different
- Everything renders on your device. Your photos and videos are processed locally in your browser using WebAssembly, they are never uploaded to a server. Your media stays yours.
- No account, no install. Open the page and start. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to download.
- Built for speed. Headlines are one click away, captions pre fill from the story you picked, and exports happen in seconds.
Who it's for
Wire to Post is made for the people who turn news into content every day: social media managers, news and meme page admins, independent creators, and small newsrooms that need to move fast without a full editing suite. If you've ever wanted to react to a story while it's still trending, not an hour later, this is built for you.
The story
Wire to Post started as a simple question: why does making one good social post out of a news story take so many tools and so many steps? The answer was to put the news, the editor, and the export in the same place, and to do the heavy lifting in the browser so it stays fast, free, and private. It's a small tool with one job, and we'd rather do that one job well.
