The four steps
1. Find a story (or write your own line)
The left panel shows live breaking headlines. Click Use on any story to drop it straight into your caption, or skip that and type your own text. Either way, the caption is shared across both tools, so it follows you when you switch between an image post and a reel.
2. Pick your format
Choose Image post for a static 1080×1350 graphic, or Video reel for a vertical clip. Switch between the two tabs at any time without losing your caption.
3. Add your media and set it up
Upload a photo or a video clip from your device. For reels you can pick an output size and drag the crop box to frame exactly what you want. Adjust the caption text, and the app sizes it automatically so it stays readable on every aspect ratio.
4. Render and download
Hit render. The post or reel is generated right on your device, nothing is uploaded, and a download link appears in seconds. Save it and post it to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or anywhere else.
Frequently asked questions
Is Wire to Post free?
Yes. The app is free to use. There's no account to create and nothing to install , open the page and start making posts.
Do you store or upload my photos and videos?
No. All image and video processing happens locally in your browser using WebAssembly. Your media files never leave your device and are never sent to our servers.
Why does the first video reel take a moment to start?
The video engine (a WebAssembly build of FFmpeg) loads into your browser the first time you export a reel. After that initial load it's much faster. Image posts don't need it and are near instant.
What output sizes are supported?
Reel/Story (9:16), feed post (4:5), square (1:1), landscape (1.91:1), and an option to keep your source's original aspect ratio.
Can I write my own caption instead of using a headline?
Absolutely. Clicking a headline pre fills the caption to save you time, but you can edit it or type something entirely your own.
Where do the headlines come from?
From public RSS feeds published by established news organizations. Wire to Post simply aggregates and displays them so you can react quickly; we don't alter the headlines.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes, the app is responsive and works in modern mobile browsers. Video encoding is heavier on a phone than on a laptop, so very long clips may take longer there.
Do I need to credit anyone for the news?
Always follow good practice and the original publisher's terms when you reshare a story. Wire to Post helps you create the post; how you use and attribute it is up to you.
Is there a watermark on my exports?
No. The files you download are clean and yours to post anywhere.
